Purpose of Job Role To ensure that finished goods, semi-finished products, make routed items, supplied parts, supplied raw materials and production processes are conforming to the standard design and customer requirements. Essential Responsibilities Ensuring that finished goods, conforms to the Production Standard Specifications (PSS) and the mutually agreed sales contract, through every stage of the production operation. To evaluate production methods and resources to improve product, processes as well as work force performance. Providing on-job training to individuals in production so as to enhance their technical knowledge and to reduce production cycle. Ensuring an accurate and timely inspection of in-process products in accordance with Inspection Guidelines and the parameters defined in the Production Order, Work Ticket, Work Instructions and Inspection Reference Sheets. Conducting and documenting statistical analysis of non-conformities from personal observations, customers’ feedback/complaints and feedback from production workforce through Control Charts, Non-Conformity Stickers and Defective Material Replacement Reports. To raise and forward Non-conformity Reports to the concerned department/section and to follow up on corrective/ preventive action plan till implementation and closing. Review and ensure updating of PSS related documentation and inspection forms. Liaison with Design Department to ensure that only approved design documentation is used in production. Liaison with Receiving Inspection & Testing to ensure conformance of incoming raw materials. Liaison with Maintenance Department to ensure machinery is being calibrated and that output is in consistency with design requirements.

Previous Experience Minimum three years experience preferably in: ISO 9001 certified manufacturing company White Goods / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration manufacturing company Safety and Environment standards (CE / UL / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001) Education Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering. Computer literate: Windows Microsoft Office Excel/Word/Power Point/Email/Internet Knowledge in AutoCAD an advantage Language Skills Fluent in written and spoken English Other language that can be relevant to Everest workforce is an advantage. Additional Information This role is very essential to ensure that only properly manufactured and well-inspected products are being dispatched to the customer. |
