Job Description/
Responsibilities 		Functions: • Ensure that lab equipments are calibrated and adjusted for the functional analysis and all chemical properties are analyzed with highly trusted results. • Ensure that the quality of the delivered raw material (Lime, Ferroalloys, Coke and Coal) comply with Rajhi steel approved raw material specification by carrying out all analysis required for verification as per applied procedures. • Carry out the analysis of slag from some heats and co-operate with MS production staff to control the production process and reduce the losses. • Carry out the analysis of refractory as per production department request. • Keep the records related to analysis results in an updated database or hard copy. • Perform Regular maintenance for X-Ray and sample preparation equipments as per M/C’s manuals and procedures. • Applying safety and environmental precautions for both human and property to avoid incidents and accidents during tests. • Check the status of X-Ray utilities (cooling system, gas supply, …) and take necessary action if any deviation. • Applying and follow safety and environmental precautions during his duty. Communication boundaries: • Laboratories, Melt shop production staff and CCM. • Stores


Profile Pre-qualifications: • 8 years experience with minimum 5 years in similar position in steel making plant. • Knowledge and familiar with steel grade and specifications • Fluent in English and Microsoft office.
