Responsibilities
The Company is the world leader in integrated power plant, in power production services and air quality control systems. It works with all energy forms (coal, gas, nuclear, fuel-oil, hydropower, wind) and is a leader in environmental protection. Our client will provide the conventional island for the future EPR nuclear power plant in France. The Group is also developing CO2 capture processes that could lead to commercial scale in the medium term. Its core activity is to deliver complex infrastructure projects. To succeed on numerous, wide-scale projects, and implement state-of-the-art technology and equipment, it needs strong, dedicated teams as their people are greatest asset - key to shaping the Group’s future. . Responsibilities: - Oversees and assists Chief HSE Officer in coordinating work of HSE technicians to ensure effective working relationship with Operations, Maintenance, Construction, General Services et al, personnel for safe and environmentally responsible operations at all times For work outside of normal duty hours (nights, weekends, holidays), on-duty HSE Officers and Technicians are to report thru Operations organization to the Shift Superintendent. - Participates in the activities for HSE compliance at worksites by advising, assisting and coaching worksite personnel in carrying out their activities Compliance includes company HSE policies, procedures, work instructions, method statements, etc. - Assist QHSE Manager, Chief HSE Officer and others with the introduction and application of Company HSESMS and Contractor HSE programs. - Evaluate contractors for overall HSE performance and contract qualification. - Assist Senior QHSE Auditor with implementation/ application of QHSE Self-assessment Program by line supervisors. -Investigates/ prepares reports for accidents, incidents and near misses, and helps ensure follow-up. - Participates in emergency response activities for protection of personnel and assets. - Manages activities to ensure inspection, testing and maintenace of safety and rescue equipment. - Submits modification requests for safety equipment and procedures to improve safe operations. - Develops and presents in-house HSE related courses as needed. - Participates in prevention and remedial action for specific environmental problems (noise, waste management, environmental monitoring, promotion programs, etc).
 
Candidate Requirement
Profile - With minimum 10 years of experience preferably with background in Civil/Construction/ Power Plant/Refineries/Environmental. - Open for Easterners
Experience 10 - 12 years
Education Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
