Job Purpose & Scope: Recommends the best approach to re-designing existing training and educational materials and suggest alternative means of accomplishing that task. He should be experienced in the development and delivery of new course content in an instructor led or virtual classroom environment and e-learning. Assists the Commercial and Maintenance SSSE in analyzing and modifications to existing End-User training strategy. Assist in the preparation of training program and budgets. Assist in the development of standard and new “Help” or “How–Do –I” queries that support and reflect the approved work processes for Operations, Maintenance, Commercial and Finance and any other future user groups. Plans and controls MAXIMO training activity in by administrating the Learning Management System and coordinate with MAXIMO coaches’ I. Job Dimensions: Annual Operating Budget: 50K US$ No. of Subordinates: N/A Annual Capital Expenditure: N/A • Provides Educational Services and Support to > 1700 registered system users • Provides support for 3MS Team as and when necessary. II. Main Duties/Accountabilities: a) Create, develop a training plan and deliver MAXIMO software education. b) Work with Commercial, Operations and Maintenance subject matter experts (SME) and vendors to design Web Based Training (WBT) e-learning courses. c) Assist with the instruction, preparation, and follow-up of training events. Maintain and report on end-user training statistics, by administrating the LMS system. d) Develop on-line help content and instructional material on the 3MS web site. e) Conduct Train the Trainer sessions / classes for super users. Coordinate with MAXIMO Coaches to ensure training objectives f) Assist with preparation, presentation and instruction at meetings (forums, events, etc.) g) Research hardware and software required for technology-enhanced classrooms. h) Coordinate classroom scheduling and computer lab material and supplies. i) Plan and formulate a 3MS system competency assessment process and Learning management system for all system user j) Create end-user publications and deliver road shows. k) Manage all published materials through out the collaboration system l) Assist in the restructure of the MAXIMO Helpdesk support services. m) Research and solve “how-do-I” software problems for the Helpdesk personnel. n) Identify “global” issues and incorporate them into generic training for new and current employee orientation. o) Prepare and submit a 3MS training budget for the divisions annual business plan p) Assist in upgrade project activities as needed. q) Coordinate the compiling, preparation and publishing of all 3MS educational material r) Carry out special duties, studies and assignments as requested by 3MS Team Leader. s) Keep abreast of new technological developments, products, equipment, etc. in order to provide the best advice and optimum solutions to assist in meeting the business needs and requirements. t) Seek MAXIMO training to enhance and/or learn new skills. u) Participate in Working Groups and Task Forces at level to review training procedures, and proposes appropriate recommendations for improvement where necessary. v) Coordinates with the application vendor the end-users training requirements. w) Assist in transferring business information systems knowledge and skills to users. x) Plan and deliver ongoing training and development of assigned employees. This includes; assessing employees training and development needs, directing the preparation of structured development/familiarization programs, monitoring and reporting on progress and counseling employees as required. y) Maintain confidentiality in all information z) Knows the Company’s health, safety, and environment policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility and ensure that they are effectively implemented in his domain. Ensures by appropriate monitoring and review, the work under his control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Ensures effective accident investigation and follow up. IV. Job Context (Work Environment): Works according to company polices international industry standards and approved operating procedures. Develops work products, systems and methods that comply with these standards and ensure the efficient and safe operation of assigned assets. V. Communications and Working Relationships/Work Contacts Frequent contacts with all levels of personnel in the Fields / Terminal, OSD, FCD, CSD, ISTD etc., at own or slightly higher level within , to advice on educational services issues. Regular contacts with Management through work forums or when performing advisory role. Regular contacts with Vendors and Contractors to review software or services, exchange technical information and arrange for services. Occasional contacts with counterparts in to exchange information. VI. Latitude Exercised, Decision Making authority and Responsibility Exercises discretion in deciding work priorities and uses initiative to resolve technical and administrative problems. All completed work assignments and products are subject to general review. Reports to the 3MSTeam Leader. Works upon direction of work plan and section staff. VIII. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience/ (Key Competencies) a) B.Sc. or Engineering degree . b) Total of 8 -10 years of Oil & Gas Industry business experience, 3 years of which should have included sufficient experience in the instruction of Computerized Maintenance & Material Management Systems (CMMS). c) Proficient in Office 2000, 2003 or XP products, Windows NT or 2003, Apple OSX. d) Proficient in or have experience with on-line course management systems e-learning, learning management systems, and the ability to quickly learn new software. e) Ability to adapt to and support new and fast changing technologies. f) Very good knowledge and command of spoken and written English. g) Basic Web design skills a must. (HTML, Flash, .Net, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Java Scripting and XML a plus). h) Excellent interpersonal skills.(Presentation Skills) |
